Max Eckersley is a keen racing enthusiast. He has enjoyed his time in karting, but it’s now time for the next challenge. So in 2026 Max will line up in the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia (TGRA) scholarship series with Apogee Motorsport.

On 14 March Max completed in the first event of the series at WINTON RACEWAY.  Max did extremely well in practice, he gained personal bests for laps.  During qualifying, Max pushed hard and unfortunately, hit a wall. The mechanics worked hard to get the car repaired in time for the race, unfortunately however, it was too badly damaged. I applaud Apogee for trying. 

His next race is in South Australia at THE BEND on 16 May. We wish him all the best for his second race in this series.
